About the Role

We’re seeking a Senior Software Engineer who thrives on solving complex problems and is excited to help build our platform from the ground up to serve our expanding customer ecosystem. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for understanding business needs and delivering quality code to scale our operations. Your role will require effective collaboration with engineering and product teams to meet milestones and deliver systems that serve our customers. This position is remote-friendly, with our headquarters in Los Angeles, California, and an office in New York City.

About You

• Technical Leadership: Be a thought leader proficient in Ghost’s tech stack. Foster a knowledge-sharing environment through code reviews and design discussions.
• Scalable Solutions: Solve complex technical problems and deliver scalable solutions aligned with business and customer needs.
• Best Practices Advocate: Produce high-quality code, conduct code reviews, and introduce engineering best practices (testing, monitoring, etc.).
• Communication Skills: Clearly convey technical ideas across teams and mentor mid-level engineers as the team grows.

Compensation

The total compensation for this position ranges from $150,000 to $200,000. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities relevant to the position.
