REMOTE: Marketing Data Analyst – United States
Are you a data-driven problem solver passionate about uncovering insights? We’re looking for a skilled Data Analyst to join our team and help us make informed decisions that propel our business forward. In this critical role, you will transform raw data into actionable insights using your expertise in statistical analysis, data mining, and business intelligence.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop and implement data strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Conduct complex data analyses to uncover insights and trends.
- Build and maintain data models and pipelines.
- Create and execute data-driven marketing strategies.
- Analyze marketing campaign performance and provide actionable insights.
- Develop interactive dashboards and reports to communicate findings effectively.
- Conduct customer segmentation and profiling.
- Identify opportunities for marketing optimization.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to measure campaign effectiveness.
- Work with cross-functional teams to determine data needs and opportunities.
- Provide data-driven recommendations to enhance business performance.
- Stay current with the latest data technologies and trends.
What You’ll Need:
- 3 years of experience in data analysis and business intelligence.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python.
- Strong statistical knowledge and the ability to apply statistical methods to solve complex problems.
- Expertise in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker) to create compelling dashboards.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills for identifying patterns and insights from large datasets.
- Strong communication skills to convey complex findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience in data modeling and ETL processes to transform raw data into actionable insights.
- An operational focus with a commitment to process and standards.
- Keen attention to detail and accuracy in reporting.
- Ability to collaborate across teams and align efforts to maintain a best-in-class marketing operations framework.
- Proficient in Excel or Google Sheets (power user status preferred, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, conditional formatting, etc.).
Desired Skills:
- Experience with machine learning or predictive modeling techniques.
- Domain expertise in B2B marketing.
- Leadership skills to mentor junior analysts and guide data initiatives.
- Business acumen to understand organizational goals and translate data into actionable recommendations.
- Project management skills to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
