Position: Data Analyst
Are you passionate about shaping data ecosystems? We’re looking for a talented Data Analyst to drive the architecture of our cutting-edge data platform. At Material Bank, you’ll play a key role in building modern data infrastructure utilizing advanced technologies, including real-time data streams and machine learning insights.
In this role, you’ll integrate various data initiatives into a unified schema, establishing a single source of truth across the organization. Your expertise will be critical in defining universal schemas, rationalizing domain data, and empowering our team to make data-driven decisions. This is a unique opportunity to influence both B2B and B2C products, impacting high-profile projects that will shape the future of Material Bank.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive data analysis to assess data quality and extract meaningful insights.
- Develop and maintain data dictionaries to ensure clarity on data definitions and structures for the team.
- Prepare and present detailed reports to the executive team, highlighting trends, patterns, and forecasts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve data issues, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
- Participate in rationalizing domain data and structures to support business objectives.
- Utilize tools such as SQL, Python, PostgreSQL, and Metabase for data analysis and visualization.
- Assist in integrating data streams between Commerce Tools and Salesforce OMS using Kafka streams.
- Support the development of a data catalog, tracking schema changes, data lineage, and metadata tagging.
- Monitor for data issues, ensuring proactive identification and resolution.
What You’ll Bring:
- 3+ years of experience as a Data Analyst.
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven track record of delivering actionable insights.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, PostgreSQL, and other relevant data analysis tools.
- Experience with data visualization.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, capable of explaining complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
